Globe Express opens Brazil office

   Globe Express Services, which provides both third-party logistics and logistics-related information technology products, has opened its first South American branch office in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

   'For years, we have serviced this important region through trusted agent partners, but the time has come for Globe Express to make its own way,' said Tony Bikhazi, Globe's president-North and South America. 'The potential for both imports and exports is tremendous, with the U.S. standing as Brazil's top trading partner on both fronts.'

   Charlotte, N.C.-based Globe is an international 3PL and application service provider (ASP) that specializes in the Far East trades. In addition to its U.S. headquarters in Charlotte, Globe operates 16 corporate locations in the Far East, Europe and the Middle East, including China (Hong Kong, Taipei, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Xiamen, Tianjin, Qingdao, Ningbo, Dalian), Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India, Turkey and Lebanon.
