GM SERVICE PARTS UNIT RENEWS CONTRACT WITH SCHNEIDER LOGISTICS
Schneider Logistics, based in Green Bay, Wis., said Monday that General Motors Service Parts Operations (GMSPO) has extended its contract with Schneider for full logistics outsourcing for three years.
Dennis Dreyer, director of logistics for GM’s service parts unit, noted “inventory lead time reduction and lowering total product costs” as continuing priorities.
GMSPO has been a customer of Schneider’s since 1994. In that time, the account has grown to be Schneider’s largest outsourcing contract for full logistics services.
