GST SHIPPING STARTS EUROPE/WEST AFRICA SERVICES
Newly-formed GST Shipping Line Ltd. is starting three new services to West Africa from Antwerp, Odessa and St. Petersburg. GST Shipping is a joint venture between Hong Kong-based GMT Shipping Line Inc. and Sta See Transport GmbH of Bremen.
The three services will commence operations later this month. The “North Continent Service” will call directly at Antwerp, Dakar, Abidjan and Lagos. The “Black Sea Service” will call at Odessa, Dakar, Abidjan, Tema and Lagos while the “Baltic Sea Service” will serve St. Petersburg, Dakar, Abidjan, Lome and Lagos.

At the same time, GMT Shipping, one of the parent companies of GST Shipping, has ceased its joint partnership with Conti-Lines concerning the “VIP Line” monthly breakbulk service from Baltic and Continental European ports to West Africa.
