GT Nexus said it has completed a pilot program launched in April, involving more than 120 customers, including importers, exporters and international freight forwarders.
GT Nexus said its shipping clients managed more than 20,000 shipments through GT Nexus' Web-based applications, which are integrated with the back-end systems of 12 ocean carriers. The software handled rate requests, booking, documentation exchange and shipment tracking, the company said.
GT Nexus, formerly known as Tradiant, provides e-logistics solutions to ocean carriers and their customers. GT Nexus carrier members are APL, CP Ships, Crowley Liner Services, CSAV, Hanjin, Hyundai, 'K' Line, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Senator Lines, Wan Hai, Yang Ming, and Zim Israel Navigation Co.
