Gulf Africa Line switches from Savannah to Jacksonville
Gulf Africa Line has switched calls from Savannah to Jacksonville on its multipurpose service connecting Mexico and the U.S. Gulf and East coasts with South Africa.
With a sailing frequency of about 21 days, the service has a revised port rotation of Altamira, Mexico; Houston; New Orleans; Jacksonville, Fla.; Cape Town; Durban; Richards Bay; Durban; Cape Town; Altamira; Houston; New Orleans; and Jacksonville. The service uses five ships that can handle container, bulk, breakbulk, project and heavy-lift cargoes.
