HANJIN SHIPPING INTRODUCES 18th 5,500-TEU CONTAINER VESSEL
Hanjin Shipping is phasing in the “Hanjin Gothenburg,” the 18th vessel of 5,500-TEU capacity, into its containership fleet.
The 5,500-TEU container vessel will join the carrier’s Pacific Southwest Pendulum Express service. The service connects Europe, Asia and the West Coast of the U.S. The vessel will commence service on Oct. 3 from Yantian, China.
Hanjin said that it plans to introduce another four new vessels of 5,500 TEUs.
