HAPAG-LLOYD CHANGES SENIOR MANAGEMENT
Hapag-Lloyd will appoint M. Behrendt on its group executive board on Oct.
1.
Behrendt is the head of VTG-Lehnkering, the chemicals logistics company that
will become part of Hapag-Lloyd following a restructuring of activities within the
Preussag group.
Behrendt will be responsible for the activities of VTG-Lehnkering and of
Algeco, a company producing and leasing "modules" for sport events, within
Hapag-Lloyd.
Claus-Peter Kulenkampff-Boedecker, previously a member of the executive board
responsible for tourism, will leave the board when he retires next year.
The other members of the group executive board of Hapag-Lloyd are Bernd
Wrede, chairman, and Gunther Casjens, chief executive officer of Hapag-Lloyd Container
Line.
