HAPAG, P&O NEDLLOYD AND ZIM UPGRADE U.S./MED SERVICE
From mid-September, Hapag-Lloyd, P&O Nedlloyd and Zim Israel Navigation Co. will upgrading their joint U.S./Mediterranean GAMEX/MAS service from fortnightly to weekly sailings. At the same time, an eastbound Lisbon call will be added to the service.
The change to the frequency is a “consequence of a satisfactory market response,” the carriers said in a joint statement. The joint operation was started last February with a fortnightly frequency.
The revised rotation for the service will be New York, Savannah, Miami, Houston, Savannah, Lisbon, Malta, Salerno, Genoa, Fos, Barcelona, Lisbon, New York, Savannah, Miami and Houston.
