HECNY GROUP SELECTS DESCARTES SYSTEM
Hecny Group, a Hong Kong-based freight forwarder, has selected Descartes System Group Inc.'s system to provide real-time monitoring of shipments worldwide.
The freight forwarder moves more than 1.5 million tons of freight a year via multiple modes, including air and ocean, throughout the Asia Pacific. The 51-year-old company has 70 offices and employs more than 2,000.
Hecny will implement Descartes 20/20 Visibility in conjunction with U.S. partner Global Link Logistics, a non-vessel-operating common carrier that moves furniture from Asia to the United States. The companies will deploy the visibility program through Descartes 20/20 Accelerator, the activation process for the Descartes Global Visibility and Inventory Control solution.
