HELLMANN FORMS JOINT VENTURE IN AUSTRIA
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, a Germany-based international forwarder and logistics company, has launched a joint air and ocean forwarding venture with its Austrian agent, Quehenberger.
The new company will operate as Quehenberger Hellmann Worldwide Logistics with four branches in Austria and three more in Budapest, Hungary; Kiev, Ukraine; and Minsk, Belarus. Quehenberger was recently acquired by Luxembourg-based Thiel Logistik.
“Quehenberger’s experience in Eastern Europe will assist Hellmann’s efforts to expand into that region,” said Michael Claus, head of Hellmann’s network headquarters in Miami.
