Hoddinott joints Titan Salvage
Dania, Fla.-based Titan Salvage has hired Mark Hoddinott as managing director of its European operations.

Hoddinott, who has been in the shipping industry for 40 years and has been a master aboard passenger, container, oil tanker, bulk carrier, reefer, short-sea ferry and deep-sea tug vessels, became a salvage master for U.K.-based United Towing Ltd. in 1982, then later became salvage manager for Howard Smith Industries and senior manager for Adsteam Marine, with responsibility for all business projects and salvage jobs, Crowley said.
He will be based in Titan's U.K. office and will report to Titan vice president Todd Busch in Florida. Titan is the salvage and wreck removal unit of Crowley Maritime Corp.
