HORIZON SERVICES NAMES KESSLER CEO, PRESIDENT
Horizon Services Group, a Dallas-based provider of logistics management technology for ocean shipping and intermodal logistics, has appointed Rick A. Kessler president and chief executive officer, and Tricia Covais as chief operating officer.
Kessler was vice president and chief operating officer. Covais was director of information technology.
Horizon Services Group is a subsidiary of Horizon Lines, recently acquired by The Carlyle Group. Horizon Lines, based in Charlotte, N.C., was formerly called CSX Lines.
