HPH consortium wins concession for Turkish port
Hutchison Port Holdings said Thursday that a consortium of Global Yatirim Holding, EIB Limas and HPH has been selected to hold the concession rights to the Port of Izmir in Turkey.
Izmir is one of Turkey's major container ports, with significant potential for continuing growth in Asia-Mediterranean trade.
In a statement, HPH said the consortium intends to improve operating and service levels at the port after finalizing the concession agreement with the Privatization Administration of Turkey.
