HYUNDAI PULL OUT OF ANSCON SERVICES, JOIN FESCO IN ASIA/AUSTRALASIA MARKET
Hyundai Merchant Marine has ceased taking slots on the two weekly China/Taiwan/Hong Kong/Australia and Japan/Korea/Australia services of “ANSCON” partners ANL Container Line, China Shipping, “K” Line, MOL, NYK, OOCL, P&O Swire, Yang Ming and Zim.
As an alternative, Hyundai will now take space on two weekly services from Far Eastern Shipping Co., “FESCO Australia Line” and “FESCO New Zealand Express Line”. The initial duration for the new agreement is one year, said a spokesman for Hyundai.
The FAL service calls Manila, Kaohsiung, Keelung, Yantian, Hong Kong, Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, Kaohsiung, Keelung, Hong Kong and Yantian while the FNZL calls Manila, Hong Kong, Brisbane, Tauranga, Lyttelton, Brisbane, Manila and Hong Kong.
