International business summit set for Jacksonville
The 2007 Florida International Business Summit at the University of North Florida has been set for February 7.
The Port of Jacksonville, the public-private state agency Enterprise Florida, the University of Florida and the University of North Florida are sponsoring the event, a day-long seminar focusing on international trade, logistics and transportation.
Confirmed speakers include Nancy Soderberg, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, John Adams, the president of Enterprise Florida Inc., Antonio Villamil, the CEO of the Washington Economics Group, Mark Rosenberg, chancellor of the State University System of Florida, and Jacksonville Mayor John Peyton.
