INTTRA opens three new China offices
Ocean freight Web portal INTTRA said Tuesday it has opened three new offices in China due to significant growth in demand for multicarrier e-commerce.
The new offices are in Qingdao, Shenzhen and Xiamen. INTTRA, the largest e-commerce platform for the ocean industry, initiates more than 150,000 container orders a week and handles more than $11 billion worth of ocean freight each year, the company said.
“INTTRA has experienced significant growth in the region over the last year, registering a 260 percent increase in containers processed between the end of 2005 and 2006,” said Bobby Lim, INTTRA’s managing director for the China and Korea region of Parsippany, N.J.-based INTTRA.
