ITC finds no injury to U.S. metal calendar slide makers from imports
The U.S. International Trade Commission ruled that domestic manufacturers of metal calendar slides were not harmed by imports, although the Commerce Department found the items sold in the United States at less than fair value.
Metal calendar slides are either “V”- or “U”-shaped metal strips made from cold-rolled steel sheet and are used for binding and hanging calenders. Production of metal calendar slides is largely concentrated in Ohio.
All six ITC commissioners voted in the negative. As a result, no antidumping order will be issued on imports of metal calendar slides from Japan.
