ITF ISSUES WARNING TO EU
The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) has issued a warning to the European Union regarding their port directive. ITF claims this will lead to industrial unrest. Should all appeals to EU bodies and national governments fail, the ITF will call on affiliated unions to prepare for Europe-wide consequences.

The resolution also calls on port workers' unions outside of the EU to support, where possible, their European colleagues and to remain on standby to respond to any calls for support.
