Jacob joins PMSA
The Pacific Merchant Shipping Association, representing ocean carriers and marine terminal operators on the West Coast, named Mike Jacob vice president.
Jacob will be responsible for assisting the organization’s legislative and public policy efforts in areas such as air quality and congestion.
He owns his own consulting firm in Oakland, Calif., and has recently served as an advisor to the Port of Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District. Prior to starting his business, he held several staff positions in the California legislature.
