Jurong Port’s box volume down 14.8% in July
Singapore’s Jurong Port, which handles a mixture of bulk, breakbulk and container cargo, handled 69,000 TEUs in July, down 14.8 percent compared to 81,000 TEUs in the same month 2005.
For the year to date, the port has moved 481,000 TEUs, a drop of 8.4 percent from 525,000 TEUs in the corresponding period last year.
