Jurong Port’s container throughput down 17% in May
Jurong Port in Singapore, which handles a mixture of bulk, breakbulk and container cargo, handled 64,000 TEUs in May, down 16.9 percent compared to 77,000 TEUs in the same month last year.
For the year to date, the port has moved 353,000 TEUs, a drop of 4.8 percent from 368,000 TEUs in the corresponding period 2005.
