“K” LINE ENDS ASIA/EUROPE SLOT CHARTERS WITH CMA CGM
“K” Line will stop taking slots on two Asia/Europe container services operated by CMA CGM in the first week of March.
This follows the recent announcement that Contship Containerlines, a subsidiary of CP Ships, will withdraw from the Asia/Europe trade and stop taking slots on the “FAL” service of CMA CGM in March.
“K” Line has increased its cooperation in the east/west trades with other lines of the COSCO/”K” Line/Yang Ming/Hanjin Shipping/Senator Lines alliance. It will no longer take space on the “FAL” and “NCX” ships of the CMA CGM between Asia and Europe.
The FAL service calls at Le Havre, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Southampton, Malta, Khor Fakkan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong
Kong, Port Kelang, Malta and Le Havre.
The NCX link has a rotation of Southampton, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Le Havre, Damietta, Jeddah, Port Kelang, Busan, Kwangyang, Xingang, Dalian, Qingdao, Xiamen, Singapore, Port Kelang, Jeddah, Malta and Southampton.
