“K” Line (Europe) to open regional offices in Turkey, Russia
“K” Line (Europe) Ltd. is establishing regional offices in Istanbul, Turkey, and St. Petersburg, Russia.
Both of the new offices will open Jan. 1, and will oversee the business activities of all “K” Line’s business groups.
The Istanbul office will cover all “K” Line’s activities in Turkey, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Black Sea, Greece and Egypt. Kiyoshi Terashima, a director of “K” Line (Europe) will relocate to Turkey to head the office.
The St. Petersburg office, to be headed by Tatsuya Kato, will be responsible for all “K” Line’s business activities in Russia and the Ukraine.
“K” Line (Europe) said the Japanese carriers’ existing agency arrangements in Turkey and Russia are not affected by the opening of the new offices.
