ôKö Line order crude carriers
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. said Thursday it has placed orders for three new double-hulled Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs).
The new vessels, scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2009 and the second quarter of 2010, will increase the 'K' Line VLCC fleet to nine. The vessels are being built by Kawasaki Shipbuilding Corp.
