“K” LINE ORDERS FIVE 4,000-TEU CONTAINERSHIPS
“K” Line has added to the rush of orders for new containerships by announcing a firm order for five container vessels of 4,000 TEUs from the Korean shipyard Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The Japanese carrier also has options to build another three vessels.
The vessels will be delivered from December 2004 to February 2005. They will have a service speed of 23.5 knots.
