“K” Line to merge air forwarding, logistics units

“K” Line to merge air forwarding, logistics units

   The board of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. today decided to merge two of its subsidiaries, “K” Line Air Service, Ltd. and “K” Logistics Corp. with effect July 1.

   The merged company will be known as “K” Line Logistics, Ltd. with its headquarters in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo.

   “All of the group companies will continue to deploy, as a basic principle, the community-based logistics business services as one body, and at the same time, promote the formation of a business structure capable to successfully meet various customers’ needs,” “K” Line said in a statement.
