Kalmar receives RTG orders from South American terminal operators
Swedish Kalmar Industries, provider of heavy-duty materials handling equipment to ports, has received orders from two South American terminal operators for its E-One RTG (rubber tire gantry) units.
Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Cartagena in Colombia has ordered eight E-One RTGs to be delivered in the summer or fall next year. The units will be capable of stacking containers more than six high.
Buenos Aires Container Terminal Service, a Hutchison Port Holdings company operating in the port of Buenos Aires, Argentina has ordered four RTGs for delivery next summer. The RTGs will be capable of stacking containers more than five high.
