KLM, BRAATHENS EXTEND CARGO ALLIANCE
KLM Cargo and Braathens, Norway’s largest airline, have extended their cargo alliance to include increased joint coverage in Norway and an integrated service portfolio.
KLM and Braathens will both begin selling KLM’s Select line of services, which offer time-definite delivery times ranging from express to deferred. KLM will continue to cover Oslo in Norway, while Braathens will take over sales and trucking in Bergen and Stravanger for both companies.
KLM will continue to handle salmon shipments out of Gardeomoen airport independently through its special care unit. Both carriers will jointly offer and carry throughout their networks BraExpress and Connect Crucial expedited air services.
