KLM CARGO TO ACCEPT LARGER SHIPMENTS ON SELECT 100 SERVICE
KLM Cargo has extended its Select 100 urgent cargo product to include shipments of more than 100 kilograms, in response to market demands.
The Select 100 service offers latest delivery time, first-available flight out, earliest recovery time and access to quick handling at KLM Cargo's Amsterdam Airport Schiphol hub.
“Select 100 provides the market with speed and guaranteed access to scarce capacity out of bottlenecked markets such as the Far East,” said Frank de Reij, vice president. “We are seeing an increasing number of customers signing Select 100 contracts.”
The service is one of three airport-to-airport, time-defined products that KLM Cargo offers to the forwarding community. Select 300 offers standard arrival at destination with standard acceptance and delivery times, and Select 700 provides an economic option for shipments not requiring immediate delivery. All three services are available for loose and palletized cargo.
