KUEHNE & NAGEL EXPAND WAREHOUSING IN AUSTRALIA
Kuehne & Nagel said it has completed construction of a new logistics center in Melbourne, Australia.
The 3,000-square-meter center brings Kuehne & Nagel's total of wholly owned warehouse capacity in Australia to 11,000 square meters. The new center is equipped with warehouse managing systems and technology, digital security procedures and modern racking facilities and materials handling equipment.
The company also has access to about 30,000 square meters of warehousing space through a strategic alliance with SembCorp Logistics Ltd. The warehousing in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth brings to 40,000 square meters the total space available to Kuehne & Nagel in Australia.
Kuehne & Nagel provides forwarding and integrated logistics services in Australia from five offices in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.
