LE HAVRE EXPORTS JUMP IN APRIL
Exports at France’s largest port, Le Havre, were up 13.6 percent for the month of April compared to the same month last year. Imports were up marginally at 0.4 percent.
Outbound traffic for April was 71,068 TEUs, up from 62,543 TEUs last year. Inbound volume was 66,780 TEUs, up from 66,462 TEUs in the same month last year.
Total throughput for the year up to and including the month of April was 532,381 TEUs compared to 486,362 TEUs for the same period last year, an increase of 9.5 percent.
