LE HAVRE SETS MONTHLY CONTAINER RECORD IN MARCH
The port of Le Havre set a monthly record for containerized traffic in March, handling 111,024 containers or 166,500 TEUs.
The previous record of 106,062 container movements, or 159,000 TEUs, was set in November.
Through the first quarter of 2003, the port's container volume has grown 18 percent.
