Lee to lead USCIB Customs Committee
The United States Council for International Business named Jerry Cook, vice president for international trade with Sara Lee Braded Apparel, chairman of its Customs and Trade Facilitation Committee.
The USCIB, a pro-trade group, is working to make global customs compliance a more efficient process and make sure new global security measures mesh with normal logistics practices.
Cook, who is a licensed customs broker, is a member of the Automated Commercial Environment portal Trade Support Network and an advisor to the Commerce Department on textile and apparel trade issues.
