LLOYD TRIESTINO TAKES SPACE ON ASIA/EUROPE SERVICES
Lloyd Triestino is commencing its third weekly service in the two-way Asia-Europe container trade by taking space on the eastbound and westbound round-the-world services of Evergreen Line, its parent company.
Westbound, the Italian carrier is starting its participation in the Asia-Europe leg of the round-the-world westbound weekly service from Tokyo on May 29.
The service calls at Tokyo, Osaka, Busan, Hakata, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Singapore, Colombo, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Thamesport, Zeebrugge and Le Havre.
In the eastbound direction, Lloyd Triestino will start offering the round-the-world service from Le Havre on May 30. The eastbound service calls at Le Havre, Thamesport, Antwerp, Hamburg, Port Kelang, Singapore, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Busan, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo and Shimizu.
A spokeswoman for Lloyd Triestino at its headquarters in Trieste, Italy, said that the company has no plan to enter the transatlantic trade by taking space on the Europe/North America leg of Evergreen’s round-the-world services.
Lloyd Triestino now has slots on the round-the-world services of Evergreen in the transpacific and Asia-Europe trades.
