LOADBOOK LAUNCHES CARRIER-NEUTRAL SERVICE
Loadbook, based in Barrie, Ontario, a provider of online supply chain management solutions, has announced a new Web site, http://www.loadbook.com, as well as the site’s initial customer, Lafarge Cement, a provider of construction materials in Canada and the United States.
As the first shipper on the site, Lafarge uses five carriers recruited by Loadbook. Each carrier has a fleet of 200 to 600 trucks.
