LUFTHANSA CARGO EXPANDS ELECTRONIC BOOKING SERVICES

   Lufthansa Cargo has expanded its new electronic booking service to the United Kingdom.

   Initially, 50 U.K. forwarders will have access to the service, which allows them to make online bookings up to 30 days in advance. By the end of the year, the service will be open to all U.K. forwarders.

   Lufthansa said the service, which is available 24 hours a day, offers customers the competitive advantage of the Internet and flexible ways of doing business.
