Lufthansa to resume flights to Bahrain
Lufthansa will resume flights to Bahrain in May with three flights per week from Frankfurt to Manama, the capital of the Emirate.
The German airline last served Bahrain during the 1990s.
The new flights will operate with an Airbus A330-300 plane, departing from Frankfurt every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at about 1:10 p.m., arriving in Manama at about 8 p.m. After a stopover, the flight will continue to the capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi.
“Lufthansa is continuing its strategy of providing links to the world’s oil destinations. With the exception of Syria and Iraq, the company now offers flights to every country in the region,” the airline said.
