LYNDEN INTRODUCES ONLINE SHIPPING SERVICES
Lynden Air Freight has started offering its customers a new Web-based shipping system.
The Seattle-based freight forwarder’s service, Easy Commerce, gives its customers the online ability to request freight pickups, create documents, track shipments and view delivery receipts. The system allows customers to generate templates for repetitive shipments. Customers can also print shipping documents and labels using their in-house laser printers.
Users must register with a Lynden sales representative and use a password to log on to Lynden Air Freight’s website at www.lynden.com.
The shipping system is currently available to the forwarder’s domestic clients and will be expanded to its international and tradeshow customers later this year.
Lynden Air Freight has more than 50 offices in the United States, Micronesia, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia and the Russian Far East.
