LYNN FRITZ RESUMES ROLE AS CEO OF FRITZ COMPANIES
Raymond L. Smith has resigned as chief executive officer of Fritz Companies, Inc., effective Friday (Nov. 17) and family stockholder Lynn C. Fritz has announced that he will resume the position of CEO of the San Francisco-based forwarding and logistics group.
Lynn Fritz has been chairman of the board.
As part of the management changes, Fritz Co. has appointed Graham R.F. Napier, previously chief operating officer, as president of the company.
Concurrently, the Fritz group has formed a new operating committee to oversee the implementation and management of the company’s global operations. The committee will be comprised of the executive officers of the company together with the heads of the five global operating regions. All report functionally to the president and COO.
Lynn Fritz said that Smith is leaving to pursue other interests, but he will provide consulting services to Fritz Co.
