MAERSK NAMES NEW LARGE CONTAINERSHIP
A.P. Moller, the parent company of Maersk Sealand, named last Saturday (March 9) another large post-Panamax containership, the “Charlotte Maersk.”
A.P. Moller said that the new ship has a capacity of approximately 6,600 TEUs.
The ship will undergo sea trial and, after delivery later this month, will enter Maersk Sealand’s worldwide liner service.
