Maersk, Safmarine leave West Africa/U.S. discussion agreement
Maersk Sealand and its sister company Safmarine Container Lines are leaving the West Africa Discussion Agreement, a carrier group in the U.S./Africa liner shipping trade.
Following the departure of the two carriers, the remaining carrier members of the African discussion agreement will be Atlantic Bulk Carriers, HUAL, P&O Nedlloyd and Zim Israel Navigation Co.
