MarAd sets new deadline for comments on Maersk Line MSP transfer
The U.S. Maritime Administration has extended to Nov. 3 the period for comments in a case involving the transfer to Maersk Line, Ltd. of Maritime Security Program eligibility.
Maersk Line has requested approval from MarAd to transfer Maritime Security Program operating agreements for former Sea-Land Service vessels from U.S. Ship Management, Inc. to itself.
Maersk Line is a company based in the United States, but is owned by the A.P. Moller group of Denmark.
