MARTINAIR TO EXPAND CARGO OPERATIONS
Martinair Holland, the Dutch airline partly owned by KLM Royal Dutch
Airlines, said it will increases cargo capacity by 15 percent for its
winter schedule beginning Nov. 1.
The airline said it will bring in five MD-11s and three B747s in full
freighter and combination freighter-passenger configuration to offer
shippers some 2,350 tons of weekly cargo capacity out of Amsterdam to destinations in the
Mideast, Asia, Australia, Africa and the Americas.
Full-freighter destinations include Sydney, Hong Kong, Taipei, Bangkok,
Singapore, Abu Dhabi, Nairobi, Johannesburg, Mexico City, Miami, Seattle, Atlanta, Buenos
Aires, San Juan, Bogota, Santiago de Chile, Lima and Quito.
