Maryland Port Administration leaves port security group

   The Maryland Port Administration Maritime is the latest U.S. port authority to leave the Maritime Security Discussion Agreement, a group of ports, terminal operators and shipping lines that discuss common security issues and costs in the United States.

   The Alabama State Port Authority, Massachusetts Port Authority, Port of Tacoma, South Carolina State Ports Authority, and various terminal operators and ocean carriers remain within the security group.
