Massie resigns from Virginia Port Authority board

   Ronald W. Massie, a member of the Virginia Port Authority Board of Commissioners since July 2002, has resigned from the board for personal reasons, the port said Tuesday.

   During his tenure he served as chairman of the finance planning committee and was a member of the executive committee. Massie was appointed to the VPA board by Gov. Mark Warner. A replacement has not yet been named.
