McCaffrey named closing keynote speaker at Intermodal Expo
The Intermodal Association of North America, the National Industrial Transportation League and the Transportation Intermediaries Association said Friday that Gen. Barry R. McCaffrey, U.S. Army retired, will be the closing speaker for the Intermodal Expo, Nov. 15-18 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
McCaffrey replaces Gen. Wesley Clark, who has canceled all previously scheduled speaking engagements after announcing his candidacy for the Democratic Party’s nominee for president.
McCaffrey, who commanded the 24th Mechanized Infantry Division during Operation Desert Storm, is a professor of national security studies at West Point.
