MEDITERRANEAN SHIPPING ADDS EUROPE/MONTREAL SERVICE
Mediterranean Shipping Co. has joined the existing Maersk Sealand/P&O Nedlloyd weekly service between ports in North Europe and Montreal.
The service calls at Montreal, Felixstowe, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven and Montreal, and employs three ships of about 2,300-TEU capacity.
For Mediterranean Shipping, the additional service marks its entry in the direct Montreal/northern Europe trade.
Mediterranean Shipping said that it will initially purchase slots on the service, but will provide a vessel at a later stage.
NYK Line continues to take space on the service.
