Metropolitan Stevedore adds two accounts

   Metropolitan Stevedore Co., a Wilmington, Calif.-based general and bulk cargo stevedore, said it has added two business accounts in the ports of Los Angeles and Redwood City, Calif.

   U.S. Borax of Los Angeles chose Metropolitan to stevedore its outbound bulk and bagged borate products at its Wilmington terminal.

   International Materials Inc. of Redwood City, selected the stevedore to handle its bulk bauxite. IMC’s first vessel of the new agreement, “Ocean Morning,” discharged Dec. 16-21.
