MISC unveils new corporate identity
Malaysia International Shipping Corp. Thursday launched a new corporate identity to “reflect the transformation of MISC into an energy-focused global maritime transportation and logistics company.”
The Kuala Lumpur-based company will now simply be known as MISC.
In April 2003, MISC acquired American Eagle Tankers from Neptune Orient Lines for $445 million in cash, helping it become one of the world’s-largest owners of aframax tankers.
MISC’s majority shareholder is Petronas, Malaysia’s national oil and gas company.
