MOL CHRISTENS 5,500-TEU “MOL SOLUTION”
MOL has christened the “MOL Solution,” the third 5,500-TEU ship built at the Kmabari-Koyo dockyard.
The new ship will be deployed with sisterships “MOL Advantage” and “MOL Integrity” in MOL's Japan Express (JEX) service, one of four weekly services the line offers between North Europe and the Far East.
The “MOL Solution” is 278 meters long, can handle 16 containers across, and has a service speed of 24.75 knots.
The ship is expected to arrive in Rotterdam on Sept. 9, followed by Hamburg on Sept. 11, Southampton on Sept. 14 and Le Havre on Sept. 15.
